Make my own Kimono!(English)

We’ve made it easier and cheaper for you to design your own style of kimono.
In this blog post we’ll share how to make an order.
STEP 1 Choose Fabric
Firstly choose fabric material, we suggest cotton and polyester. We provide our selected fabric catalog, or you could assign any online shop in Japan to purchase fabric material from.
STEP 2 Measure body size
Statistics needed
height
weight
bust
waist
hips
distance from the center of neck to wrist（as the picture below shows）
STEP 3 Choose kimono style
Design your own kimono as you like by designing the width of sleeve, the length of kimono, the thickness of kimono.
The width of sleeve (Standard/Wide)
Standard for Free: Normally the width is 49cm for height 155cm~165cm, plus or minus about 1~3cm for variety of height.
Wide sleeve: For Japanese Furisode, the sleeve width varies from 75~125cm, when ordering sleeve width bigger than standard(49cm), it`s recognized as a Wide Sleeve order.
The length of kimono(Customized)
Length hits to right above heel for classical kimono, you can design it in sexy style as miniskirt or modern looking as one-step skirt right below the knee.
The thickness of kimono(With liner/Without liner)
Without liner/Single layer---the kimono is made of the fabric you choose only. All seasons recommend.
With liner/Double layer--- we add inside liner (fabric 100% polyester).Not recommend for summer.
STEP 4 Calculate Price
We will calculate the number of fabric needed based on data such as height and weight and your favorite design.

STEP 5 Handmade /Delivery
The procedure from order to dispatch usually takes 1 month.
